Regionalliga North | Oliver Reck and the SSV Jeddeloh II agree on separation in summer
The former National Torwart Oliver Reck will leave the football regional leader SSV Jeddeloh II after this season after two and a half years as a coach.
One was "commonly concluded" to extend the contract expirable in the summer, the Lower Saxony announced. Recks goal is to "continue to work under professional conditions," the 57-year-old is quoted in the message.
The former Werder and Schalke goalkeeper took over the village club near Oldenburg in the winter break of the 2019/20 season. Shortly thereafter, the coronavirus pandemic began. "I have reached my goals with the club here in the two and a half years," said Reck. "We have had the challenge of league in every season and mastered this task together. This will succeed this year."
The two-time German champions with Werder Bremen already trained Fortuna Dusseldorf and the MSV Duisburg in the professional sector. In addition, Reck belonged to the coaching staff of FC Schalke 04 for several years.
